This is how I used to roll when it came time for dessert. And sometimes still is… Shhhh  🙂

For as long as I can remember, weight was an issue for me. I wrote a little bit about my story in my #1 Best Selling book, “Get With The Program” but the long and short of it is this… At my heaviest, I weighed 313 pounds and from there dieted myself down to 200-205 pounds, with everything in between, up and down, right and wrong.

I listened to the magazines and popular media…

Miracle fat loss supplement (Hey Dr. Oz has a new one every week) … Nothing happened.
Low fat, high carb diet …. I got fat.
Tons of long distance, slow cardio … I lost muscle and gained fat though I got smaller.
6-8 small meals a day to “boost my metabolism” … I got fat.

You see where this is going. And I am sure the vast majority of you reading this, if not all, can relate to that in some way.

I’ve finally found a couple of systems that work. Strength training wise and diet/nutrition wise. We have a great intermittent fasting protocol we use for long term sustainable “dieting” and easy integration into lifestyle. But we also have a little stricter, short term solution that people have been seeing great results with, more on that shortly…

The first thing we tell new clients at Twoguns Training Systems is to seriously moderate or eliminate sugar, before you do anything else.
